Southern Delaware recently held a Partner’s Meeting at Heritage Shores in Bridgeville. Director Scott Thomas otlined new iniatives for marketing sueex County – including Culinary Coast, Beyond the Beaches, Heritage and much more.
A guest from Wallops Island spoke to the group about the bigger, more powerful missles that are going to be launched from the facility this year. Watch for information in local media.
Russ McCabe, formerly with Delaware Archives, spoke about several tours that will include heritage locations in Western Sussex County.
Getting Ready for Battle
Coming up in Seaford – Heritage Weekend on May 26- 27 at the Governor Ross Plantation. There will be plenty of food, fun and entertainment. Look for re-enactors camping and providing skirmishes, pony rides and carriage rides, period artisans and local artists, craft vendors, manison tours [fee] and so much more.
